Conney D. Williams is a Los Angeles based poet, actor and performance artist originally from Shreveport, Louisiana where he worked a radio personality. He has published two poetry collections “Leaves of Spilled Spirit from an Untamed Poet (2002/2008)” and his latest, “Blues Red Soul Falsetto (2012).” His poetry has also been published in various publications and anthologies including Voices from Leimert Park; America: At the End of the Day; and The Drumming Between Us.
He has performed his poetry on television, radio, galleries, universities, grade schools, coffee houses, and stages around Southern California, including the Black Arts Festival.
